International Senior Marketing Executive

Afrocet Montgomery run the trade exhibition portfolio in Nigeria, West Africa, based in Montgomery Groups’ head office in London. Afrocet Montgomery is looking for an experienced individual to drive the marketing activities across the two market leading exhibitions.

Propak West Africa, which takes place in Lagos, Nigeria, is one of the largest and fastest growing exhibitions in the region. With the last event marking the 10th Edition.  Its focus is on the packaging, processing, plastics, and printing sectors across the West African manufacturing sectors. 

Propak Ghana launched into Accra in 2023 and established itself as the new frontier for the brand.  It focuses on the same sectors as Propak West Africa, with an audience from Ghana and its neighbouring countries.


The role covers both exhibition and visitor marketing and promotion for each event ensuring every day is varied.  This role comes with the opportunity to travel to the region for the events.



  • Write and edit high quality, accurate and grammatically correct copy, making sure that all printed and online communications demonstrate the defined value proposition for the brand. 
  • Execute marketing plans to produce a quality campaign, integrating online and offline activities for each event within budget.
  • Specification and management of event websites to aid pre-registration  
  • Promote the brand websites to maximise data capture helping drive qualified data for the sales team. 
  • Implement an agreed social media strategy to assist promoting the exhibition to both visitors and exhibitors.
  • Identify new, and manage existing, media partners ensuring that all agreements are upheld and maximising promotion.  
  • Create design briefs for marketing collateral to be used online and in print.  
  • Assist the management and analysis of visitor data.  
  • Engage with exhibitors for content creation as well as form collation for the event guides and other necessary documentation in the lead up to the event. 

Provide accurate and timely reports on areas of the campaigns under your management.



  • Experience in a similar marketing role.
  • Creative, idea driven, with the ability to look imaginatively for new and innovative ways of approaching the marketing requirements for each event.
  • Strong marketing experience across all elements of the marketing mix, preferably from a B2B background.
  • Ability to work on multiple projects at the same time.
  • Be a confident communicator in all mediums – written, face-to-face & on the phone.
  • The ability to meet deadlines. Event dates do not move and therefore time management is critical for the role.
  • Excellent copywriting skills and an eye for detail.
