Marketing Coordinator

Role Overview

We have an exciting opportunity for a Digital Marketing Coordinator to join the team, supporting the planning, execution and optimisation of digital marketing activity across Montgomery Group’s exhibition brands. 

This role is ideal for someone with one to two years’ experience in digital or campaign marketing who is looking to develop their career within exhibitions, events or a fast-paced B2B environment. Reporting into the Digital Marketing Manager, you will work closely with the wider Marketing, Operations and Commercial teams to deliver engaging, data-led digital campaigns that drive high-quality visitor and exhibitor engagement. 

The role focuses on hands-on delivery across key digital channels including websites, email, social media and digital campaign activity, supporting registration performance, exhibitor visibility and overall campaign success. 

IDEAL CANDIDATE 

  • One to two years’ experience in a digital marketing or campaign-focused role, ideally within exhibitions, events or a B2B environment 

  • A solid understanding of multi-channel digital marketing, including websites, email marketing and social media 

  • Confident using digital platforms such as CMS, email marketing tools and social media management platforms 

  • Data-aware, with the ability to interpret campaign performance and apply insights to improve results 

  • Excellent time management and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple campaigns and deadlines 

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with high attention to detail 

  • Comfortable collaborating with cross-functional teams and external suppliers 

  • Willing to support live events and campaign delivery as required

COMPETENCIES 

  • Experience supporting or delivering digital marketing campaigns across the funnel 

  • Strong content management, copywriting and proofreading skills across digital platforms 

  • Confident managing website updates, email campaigns and social media activity 

  • Good understanding of digital performance metrics and reporting 

  • Ability to manage campaign schedules, trackers and data accurately 

  • Comfortable working with registration platforms, media partners and digital suppliers 

  • Highly organised, detail-focused and able to work independently as well as part of a team
